stand alone.
Justice Labelle has lost too much in this war of monster and men, and it
needs to stop now.
After her run in with Erin, which left her lying in a hospital bed, black and
bloody blue, Justice is no longer going to sit by and simply accept the
twisted hand, that has been dealt.
Especially since she now has superhuman powers, all thanks to her
being a Doll.
Her one and only passion– To get through College and practice law at a
top tier firm, is fading from her grasp and its all because of Calvin, Dante,
Vampyres and the Government. In fact the government has more secrets
than kids have candy… And they’re all just as deadly as the enemies they
hunt.
But you know what? Justice has come up with her own master plan and
heaven help the Vampyre, monster or human that gets in her way!

I bee-lined straight to the back doors, and when I got inside I took off my
winter boots and coat. Seeing blood on the sleeve of my coat, I left it at the
door and headed upstairs.
I had just murdered a man. The thought echoed in my mind, and the
memory of my actions replayed over and over like a broken record. But the
weird thing was that it hadn’t affected me as much I thought it would. I had
stabbed Tristan, and a small part of me had enjoyed it.
Was it because he had stabbed me first? Or maybe from the very
beginning, Tristan had only showed me coldness? What was it? But what
scared me the most, was that I had liked it. I relished in it, and I stabbed
him another few times simply because I wanted to, because the rush of
hurting Tristan breathed through me like wildfire. It ripped through my
veins, breathing into me a new life, promising a future of the unknown.
Promising a future that is far from reach, mysterious, but in another way
that felt closer than ever.
And I wanted it.
This may sound crazy, but since I awoke this morning, I had felt something.
A feeling like everything was going to be okay. I felt this bold burst of
energy, this need and desire to claim whatever emotions were rising inside
of me, and no matter what happened, going forward through the rain,
blood, or shine, that everything would be okay.
Reaching my room, I walked in and went straight into the bathroom. I
stripped naked as I headed toward the shower, walking past the bathtub
and granite countertop and opening the sliding glass doors. I took a step
inside and made sure the water was at the right temperature before I
turned on the shower head.
I felt the first few warm splashes and let out a breath. The water created a
steamy atmosphere, and I closed my eyes. My skin was burning from the
soft cadence of droplets, and, placing my hands under the faucet, the water
washed away the blood. I lowered my head under the shower head and
allowed the water to beat against my hair and scalp.
I was lost. I was lost without a thought, and that feeling was much better.
Lifting my head, I wiped the water from my eyes and that's when I heard a
knock on the glass door. I opened my eyes to find him, my dark stranger.
I opened the glass door and our eyes met, each holding the others in that
way that was only known to us. Like there wasn't anyone else in the house,
outside, or in the universe. There was only Dante and I.
Without saying a word, Dante took off his shirt, pants, and boxers. I gazed
at him, all of him, from his broad shoulders to his dangerous, ripped abs.
Oh, help me now.
I backed up into the spacious shower until there was no where else to go,
and it didn't help that Dante didn't fall back. He came at me like a man who
had been in a desert for far too long and was dying of thirst. Dante lowered
his mouth over mine, devouring my lips, my tongue, and my saliva.
I melted into him. I let him have me without a first or second thought as he
ravished my body, tasting and kissing. The shower rained down on us both,
washing away our sins of tonight, our sins of tomorrow, and forever on.

Justice Labelle always had
her life perfectly planned.
Her goals were to graduate from University and get into law school.
Then one day, Justice tried to
kill herself.
Well, not her technically. It may have been her body, but those actions
weren’t intentional and the suicidal thoughts were not hers. Or, so she
keeps telling her therapist and family. Justice is afraid she’s losing her mind
and just wants to forget everything. But when her best friend is murdered,
another one is being mind-screwed by a Vampyre, and her ex is back in
town, looking as scrumptious as ever and very suspicious,
maybe
she isn’t all that crazy!
