Our main heroine, Everly is a wallflower. She doesn't like attention and stays out of the spotlight. She fell in love with our hero, Grayson, in seventh grade, but he up and disappeared and starting Senior year, Everly is determined to break out of her shell and become more involved with high school life instead of always blending into the background.
But our hero has other plans for her. Just as she is letting go of her infatuation for him, Grayson come's back but he has his demons and the question is, can Everly help him overcome those demons whilst still trying to break out of her shell?
If you are looking for an emotional read full of teenage angst, unrequited love, and love triangles, then this read is for you.
I enjoyed reading and loved how well written it was and how it kept up a good pace and loved the angst. I'm a big fan of unrequited love and teenage angst! But beware, it does have a dreaded cliffy that will leave you hanging on, waiting to find out happens next!
